At Senarath Group, we believe that empowering future generations begins with access to quality education and school infrastructure. That’s why our second flagship CSR initiative, “Akurata Athwalak” – meaning A Helping Hand for Education – is focused on uplifting under-resourced schools and supporting the educational development of children in rural Sri Lanka. As part of this project, we proudly supported Doratiyawa School in Kurunegala by constructing a modern stage for the main school hall and redesigning the audience seating area into three clear viewing levels, enhancing visibility and creating a better experience for both students and guests during school events. This upgrade not only supports school functions but also nurtures student confidence, talent development, and community engagement. In Bopitiya School, we took steps to promote school sports development by improving the school ground outfield, constructing a cricket pitch, and offering ongoing support to the school’s cricket team. Through this, we aim to inspire youth empowerment, team spirit, and physical wellness, creating opportunities for students to grow both in academics and athletics.
